Six Flags. Yep. Six Flags. I hate hate hate that theme park.

Reason #1 - it's way too hot in Georgia in July for anybody to think it's okay to spend the entire day outdoors.

Reason #2 - we arrived at the park around lunch and between arrival and 5:00 rode an average of 2 rides per person. and we didn't stick together or some of us would have ridden 0 rides.

Reason #3 - the security at the Southern Star Ampitheater are waaaaayyyyyy too enthusiastic about their jobs. when you get your kicks by picking on 12 year old girls, something is wrong with you.

Reason #4 - i fought the Scream Machine, and the Scream Machine won. no joke, that thing beat the hell out of me. i've haven't been in a fight and left with a nosebleed ever. until now.

Reason #5 - when did it become okay in this country to charge 9 bucks for a kids meal with crappy popcorn chicken and fries that have been under the hot lamps all day? i'm just saying.

Well, in case you can't guess, I spent Sunday at Six Flags over Georgia. My girl turned 12 this month and her birthday wish was to go to Six Flags and see Boys like Girls (for all you old farts, that's a band). So we go to Six Flags and see Boys like Girls and all of the above things happened to me. Yes, the Scream Machine gave me a bloody nose.
Yes, we paid exhorbitant prices for bad food. And yes, a security guard threatened to evict my girl and her friend from the concert because they were - oh my god - standing up on their bleacher/seats. Couldn't have been because of all the other (larger) pubescent kids blocking their view? Nah, they must have been up to know good.

I hate Six Flags.

Oh, and I love Butch Walker.
